Since 2010 we have supplied Portsmouth Water with our AMR Solution. Our technology has improved their service and helped Portsmouth Water record their highest level of satisfaction and lowest level of complaints with the use of our AMR System.
Portsmouth Water has been supplying water to Portsmouth and the surrounding area since 1857. The area supplied by the Company encompasses 868 square kilometers and a way to effectively manage this was needed.
Portsmouth Water has proposed to reduce leakage by 15% by 2025 – something many of its customers see as ambitious but necessary.
We have installed AMR on selected sites across Portsmouth Area using our own HR-Net and LoRaWAN (Long Range and Wide Area Networks). Consumption data has been recorded through our AMR system at 15 minute, 30 minute or hourly intervals depending on the resolution required.
This has enable Portsmouth water to allow accurate consumption data for:
· Accurate billing
· Identification high or low consumption patterns
· Identify Meter Right sizing
· Identify leakage and wastage issue
